Who we are
Money Nose™ is run by Vindivo Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17149797). We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact us at hello@moneynose.com. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration reference C1957533.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address and sign-in details, your business name, website address, business type and the value you tell us an enquiry or sale is worth.
- Your Google data (only if you connect it): read-only reports from Google Analytics (visits, pages, traffic sources and conversions) and Google Search Console (the searches that show your site, clicks, impressions and positions). We ask only for read-only access. We cannot change anything in your Google accounts.
- Other services you connect (only if you connect them): reports from Google Ads (when available), Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram, when available), HubSpot (when available), Shopify, WooCommerce and Stripe, such as ad spend, leads, orders and sales totals. We do not store your customers' personal details from Shopify, WooCommerce or HubSpot.
- Your website: the public pages of your website, which we read in the same way a search engine does, and page speed results from Google PageSpeed Insights.
- The tracking line (optional): if you add it to your website, it counts page views and enquiries (form sends and clicks on phone, email, WhatsApp and booking links), and visits from AI crawlers. We store one row per event: the time, the kind of event, the page address, the website or campaign tags the visit came from, whether it came from a paid ad click, and the screen width. We store no IP addresses, cookies or visitor IDs, so an event can never be linked to a person or to their other visits. IP addresses are used only at the moment of a visit to exclude ranges you have asked us to ignore. The Money Nose Shopify app (when available) stores carts and checkouts the same way, with the order value and currency, and never the customer.
- The WordPress plugin (optional): if you connect it, we read the page titles, descriptions, image alt text and links that a change affects, and we keep a record of every change you approve, including the old and new text, so it can be undone.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Usage: which features you use, error logs and your questions to Ask Money Nose, so we can run the service.
- Updates you ask for: If you sign up for updates, we keep your email address and when you agreed. We delete it when you unsubscribe. If you don't confirm your sign-up within 30 days, we delete it then.
How we use it
We use your data to provide Money Nose to you and, if you have an account, to send you tips and offers about Money Nose, unless you say no. Providing Money Nose means using your data to find and rank your opportunities, show money values once a change has been measured, answer your questions, send your alerts and reports, make the changes you approve, take payment and support you. Our lawful basis is the contract with you, and our legitimate interest in running and securing the service. For tips and offers about Money Nose, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in telling customers about our own service. You can object at any time by saying no when you sign up, switching them off in Settings, or using the unsubscribe link. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your data for advertising.
Emails about Money Nose
If you have an account, we may send you tips and offers about Money Nose. You can say no when you sign up, switch them off in Settings, or use the unsubscribe link in any email. Emails about your account, your reports and billing are not affected.
Google user data and Limited Use
Money Nose's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:
- We use Google data only to provide and improve the user-facing features of Money Nose that you see.
- We do not transfer Google data to others except to provide those features, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger or sale, with notice to you.
- We do not use Google data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
- No person at Money Nose reads your Google data unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security or the law, or it has been made anonymous for running the service.
- We do not use Google data, or any of your data, to train AI models.
Money Nose Knows (coming soon)
Money Nose Knows is optional and opt-in. It is off unless you switch it on, and it is not available yet.
- What is used: anonymised, aggregated patterns of which changes worked. Never names, website addresses, page content or a website's own figures.
- Before a pattern is used: it must have been seen on at least 20 different websites.
- Switching it off: you can switch it off at any time in settings. After that, nothing new from your account is added. Patterns already formed are kept, as they cannot identify you or your website.
- Who decides: Money Nose decides how these anonymised patterns are used, so we are the controller for this purpose.
- Lawful basis: your consent.
AI providers
Money Nose uses AI to write up your opportunities, answer your questions, check how AI assistants describe your business, and draft the changes you approve. To do this, the relevant figures and page text are sent to our AI providers, Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI (ChatGPT), through their business services. Under their business terms, they do not use this data to train their models. We send only what each task needs.

How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. If you close your account, we delete your Google data and analysis within 30 days and your account details within 90 days, except records we must keep for tax and accounting (normally 6 years). Disconnecting Google in Settings stops all new reads straight away. You can also remove Money Nose's access in your Google account at any time. Raw tracking line and Shopify app events are deleted after 13 months; we keep only the daily totals made from them. Messages you send us through the contact form are deleted 12 months after we last reply. Update sign-ups: until you unsubscribe, or 30 days if never confirmed.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct, delete or move your data, object to how we use it, or ask us to limit it. Email hello@moneynose.com and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Google sign-in tokens are stored encrypted, and every request from the WordPress plugin is signed and expires after five minutes.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email you before the change takes effect.
